The strength of Camp Awakening is in our Board of Directors, the members of our Advisory Council and our volunteers. They inspire and encourage through vision, talent and passion. Their gifts provide opportunities for lives to be changed.

Jamie Macintosh, Chair
COO & Director of MacCormick Inc. and alumni of Kilcoo Camp, Jamie manages our Endowment Fund.

Susie Lindsay, Vice Chair
Susie has wonderful memories of working as a camp counsellor at Camp Awakening and is delighted to be involved with Camp again. Susie is Counsel at the Law Commission of Ontario.

Andy McLean, Treasurer
Andy is a youth development professional who spent summers at Camp Kawabi and now works for the TDSB.  He also has over 15 years of experience in accounting so contributes his expertise primarily to the Finance Committee.

Adam Chamberlain, Past Chair
Past Chair and Legal Advisor, a keen camp person and environmental lawyer with Borden Ladner Gervais LLP, Adam is there when we need him for guidance and legal counsel.

Erin Brandon
A Paediatric Nurse Practitioner at Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital, Erin is passionate about increasing opportunities from children and youth with medical and functional needs.

David Latimer (ex-officio)
Known as “Lub” at camp, David is the Director of Kilcoo Camp and Director of Community Life at Greenwood College School. He is on our Program Committee and keeps an eye out for our boys in the summer.

Bruce Logan
Bruce is a communications expert who lends a hand to our brand building, marketing and stakeholder communications efforts.

Dolly Menna-Dack
Dolly is a former Camp Awakening camper who is passionate about ensuring kids and youth have the opportunity to participate in summer camp. Dolly is a Clinical and Research Ethicist at Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital.

Dana Nielsen
Dana is a former camper and staff member of Camp GV, the original host camp for the Awakening girls' program. She now works with youth and their families as a clinical social worker at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH).

Meghan Payne
Meghan is an avid outdoors woman with a passion for all things camp and canoe tripping. A health law lawyer with Borden Ladner Gervais LLP, Meghan is always happy to help out at Camp with everything from legal guidance to canoe trip planning.

Bruce & Lisa Wilson (ex-officio)
Bruce & Lisa are the co-Owners and co-Directors of Camp Oconto.  They sit on the Program Committee and keep an eye on the girls in the summer.
